█████▌ ███▌ Instead of the blips and bleeps of ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ electronic drums, the act featured a ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ live drummer. Its synthetic points, ▀█████████
▀▀██▄ mostly extraneous melodies and samples, ▄██▀▀███ ▀ ▄

█████▌ ███▌ the band's latest album with a small ▐███ ▐█████

▄▄▄ ▀▀██▄ Unsurprisingly, the act executes its ▄██▀▀■ ▀████▄

▄█████▀ ▀▄▄ overshadows its political aims. Songs ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ like Moron, Stars and Stripes, WWIII ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ and Bullets, Bombs and Bigotry, carry ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ the band's agenda proudly, and the ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ blatantly politicized title of the tour ▀█████████
▀▀██▄ only furthers KMFDM's leftist leanings. ▄██▀▀███ ▀ ▄
▄▄▄▄▄ ▐██▓ Get past the election-year, ▓██▌ ████▄ ▄█▌
▀ ▀▀███▄ ▄▓▓█▓▌ elephant-hunter mentality, however, and ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
▐███▌▄█████▀ KMFDM shows that it is more than just a ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▄ ▄███▄█████▀ pile of programs, gadgets and rhetoric. ▀█████▄
▀▀███▀██████▀ ▀▄▄ With searing, white-hot guitars in Ultra ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ and Moron match all the sturm und drang ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ of the band's studio incarnation and ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ show that pummeling and rigidly ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ controlled guitars aren't mutually ▀███████▀▓▄▄▄
▄▄▄ ▀▀██▄ exclusive. Front man Sascha Konietzko ▄██▀▀■ ▀████▄
▄████▀▀▀▄ ▐██▓ works his way though an ominously ▓██▌ ▐▌ ▐████
▐████▌ ▄▄▓▓█▓▌ guttural growl throughout the album, ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀ while Lucia Cifarelli hangs with ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
▀▀███▀▄█████▀ scratchy shout that desperately attempts ▀█████▄
▄█████▀ ▀▄▄ to keep up with his vim and vigor. ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
▐█████ ▐█▓ Cifarelli gets her moment in the sun on ▓█▌ █████▌
█████▌ ███▌ From Here on Out, where she takes the ▐███ ▐█████
▀█████▄ ▓██▓ lead and lets out a set of pipes that ▓██▓ ▄█████▀
▀▀███████▀ can run with the best of them. In fact, ▀█████████
▀▀██▄ outside of a rough-around-the-edges mix ▄██▀▀███ ▀ ▄
▄▄▄▄▄ ▐██▓ that pushes the band's beats high into ▓██▌ ████▄ ▄█▌
▀ ▀▀███▄ ▄▓▓█▓▌ the mix - think live sound - and a bit ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
▐███▌▄█████▀ of crowd noise thrown around for good ▀█████▄ ▀▀▀
